Ascend from the helipad at the Hilo Airport and soar directly to the Kilauea Volcanic System to view the current activity, which may include cinder cones with lava lakes, skylights and lava flows entering the ocean that would create glassy black sand beaches. Observe where some of the homes were destroyed by lava in the Royal Gardens and Kalapana Districts. View the Lava Tree Forrest and the waterfalls on the Hamakua Coast, weather permitting before returning to the Hilo Airport.



Requirements:
Any passenger that weighs more than 250 lbs may be required to purchase another seat. Passengers that weight more than 300 lbs will be required to purchase another seat at 100%. For safety reasons, all passengers will be actually weighed upon check-in at their office prior to all flights. Tours and times may vary due to weather conditions. The front seat subject to maximum combined weight of 370 lbs.

A $25.00 per person surcharge for fuel, State Of Hawaii Air Tour Permit Fees, and Federal National Park Air Access fee is required and will be added at checkout.
